I started my career as a civil engineer. Over time my work shifted towards coding and digital technology, with a focus on GIS, and Flood Consequence Assessments.

Current Role

I currently operate under my own venture developing software and digital tools based on my background in civil engineering, GIS, programming, and flood risk.

I also write Flood Consequence Assessments for planning - more on this here.

Side Projects

I work on side projects around web mapping. Current projects orbit around making environmental/GIS information to CAD people working in the built environment.

I also build Python tools, QGIS plugins, and bits of automation. Most of it is about solving problems, speeding things up, etc. I’ve also created bespoke tools to streamline civil engineering design processes. See more on this topic here.

Let’s Connect

I enjoy sharing what I learn and connecting with others who are interested in tech and engineering. If you’re into these things too, feel free to get in touch. Let’s chat about innovation, technology, and how we can create something great together.
